Work
Career arc
Since 2004, I have worked across front-end engineering, platform development, and engineering management. My roles have included individual contributor, architect, engineering manager, Head of Engineering, and CTO. I stay close to implementation while helping teams set direction and deliver useful products.
Alongside full-time roles, I have built companies, developer communities, and consulting work. I co-founded AKIL Technologies in Abidjan in 2016 and served as CTO. In 2018, I founded Code d’Ivoire, an Ivorian developer community that published technical material, organized online sessions, and produced annual State of the Code surveys. I also led an architecture study for Orange Sénégal on making its NeSSICo commercial information system more modular. This track also includes Coders4Africa, Gebeya, 100Kode, TecPatri, Sabati, and Vibe Coding Profiler.
At Pacify, I lead technology work for a telehealth platform. My responsibilities include team development, technical planning, platform modernization, operating practices, and coordination across product, design, engineering, data, and compliance partners.
Earlier roles include Clockwise, where I worked on AI scheduling and growth products; ShopRunner, where I managed distributed engineering teams and contributed to platform integrations; and IDDataWeb, where I built front-end systems and later managed engineers. I also held engineering roles at DDC, CACI, IMMUNIO, and Millennial Media. AI-assisted development tools are now part of my daily engineering workflow.
